Since your current debt levy for school bonds is zero mills, your tax impact will be greater than for properties in the Marshall Public Schools boundaries. If this proposal passes, properties in the former APS will have a projected 4.95 increase over the current zero mill levy. Use the calculator below to calculate your estimated tax.

MARSHALL

For those properties not in the former Albion Public Schools boundaries - Marshall Public Schools currently levies 6 mills for school bond debt. If this proposal passes, properties will be taxed one additional mill for a projected total of 7 mills. Use the calculator below to calculate your estimated tax.

Calculator Terms

TAXABLE HOME VALUE - The value on which property taxes are calculated. This is assumed to be 1/2 of the estimated market value of your home.

CURRENT TAX PAID ON YOUR TAX BILL - This amount is an estimate of what you are currently paying every year on your tax bill.

NEW TAX PAID ON YOUR TAX BILL IF PROPOSAL PASSES - This amount is an estimate of how much you will pay every year if the bond initiative is passed on May 7, 2024.

DIFFERENCE - The estimated difference between what you currently pay, and what you would pay if the proposal passes.
